AMosquera, Eye and Mind reading

My first thoughts of reading this: what is real and how do we know what has opaqueness? This passage talked about the shift in scientific thinking from classical to modern methodologies. Classical science aims to reconnect with reality with transcendent foundations, while modern science represents the philosophies with autonomy and data collection, which can lead to uncertainty. I am someone who did not fully understand what that meant, so I want to clarify their differences. Reality, as we know, refers to what is actual and exists, and data collection, which observes reality, is different because it involves a collection of observations, measurements, or other relevant data that points out various aspects of reality. Reality is the underlying fabric of existence, while data collection is a human activity that is an interpretation. The article warns against reducing humanity and history to abstract concepts, aiming for a shift in scientific thinking towards focusing on what is real, observable, and occurs in the world. It points out that modern science is influenced by intellectual fads and fashions, and has access to operations but misunderstanding and why they fail. This approach leads to reductionism, which means breaking down phenomena into smaller, more manageable parts, with the understanding that if understood individually, it would result in an understanding of the whole.
